popular Samsung firmware flashing tool has been updated to support all
the latest Android 8.0 Oreo firmware. In the previous month, we saw

got updated as well. The latest Odin 3.13.1 is available for download
right ahead and you can utilize it to install Android 8.0 Oreo firmware
on Samsung devices like the Galaxy S8, and also the Galaxy Note 8 and
Galaxy S7 series, for when the official Android Oreo updates starts rolling out for them.
With this new Odin release, macOS support has been included as well. All you need to do in order to get Odin running on the Mac OSX, is extract S1PlugIn.bundle
(for VMware) which has been included in our Odin 3.13.1 download
package. The Windows library file (SS_DL.dll) ships with this unified
package as well.

Apart from official firmware, Odin does allow you to flash custom packages such as TWRP custom recovery, root utility and more. This latest revision will bring better support for utilities relying on Android Oreo — means,less chances of you ending up with a bricked phone.
